works well. One color got ink on me when removing the sticky strip, but was no big deal. Just a little blue on my finger.. Otherwise seems to work just like normal...

Great post and link as always. but i would not advise to refilling the ink until the warranty ran out. Even though the carts are genuine canon if they have been refilled and the printer wants work under warranty then canon will flat out decline to honor warranty work or replacement.
